MI6 Chief’s Remarks Mean Aggression against Iran, If True

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Tuesday that Tehran is probing into the details of the recent remarks made by British Foreign Intelligence Service (MI6), John Sawers, about Iran’s nuclear program, warning that Sawers’ allegations, if true, mean London’s intrusion and aggression against Iran. ”For sure, the issue will be pursued through legal channels.

We are now studying to know how much these remarks are true and authentic,” Ramin Mehman-Parast told reporters in his weekly press conference here in Tehran today.

“In case these statements are proved to be official(ly valid) and documented, they will fully demonstrate Britain’s meddling in our country’s internal affairs and plotting against our national interests,” Mehman-Parast noted.

The head of Britain’s secret intelligence agency MI6, John Sawers, admitted last week that Britain has been conducting covert operations against Iran’s nuclear program. In his second public speech since he was appointed to the head of MI6, Sawers told senior civil servants in London that MI6 agents had been actively engaged in conducting covert operations against Iran.

Sawers also claimed that British spies prevented Iran from developing a military nuclear capability in 2008. Iran has repeatedly complained of the US, UK and Israel’s antagonistic moves against its civilian nuclear program, including assassination of its scientists and efforts to hack and sabotage its cyber system.

Following the latest round of talks between Iran and the six world powers in Moscow last month, Iran’s Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi revealed a joint scheme by the US, UK and Israel to launch a massive cyber attack against Tehran following the talks in Moscow between Iran and the six world powers.

“Based on the obtained information, the US and the Zionist regime (Israel) along with the MI6 (the British intelligence service) planned an operation to launch a massive cyber attack against Iran’s facilities following the meeting between Iran and the G5+1 in Moscow,” he said at the time.

Meantime, world analysts believe that the US and Israeli nuclear terrorism against Iran, including assassination of the country’s scientists and efforts to sabotage its hard and software through cyber attack, accompanied by illegal sanctions and other pressures against the Islamic Republic means an open declaration of war, which need to be confronted by the world states.

Ludwig Watza in an article in International.to says the West has waged a war of sanctions, sabotage and assassinations against the Iranian people, and its sanctions are not “smart” but murderous.

Watza reminds that there is also a psychological and cyber war going on against Iran’s nuclear scientists and installations, led by the US Empire and its client state Israel. According to international law, both countries engage in illegal occupation, which represents a regional and global threat to the peace.

Similar reports said the United States army is developing cyber capabilities to sabotage facilities and installations of other countries, specially Iran.

The Air Force Weapons School recently graduated its first six airmen specially trained in cyber warfare. The Wall Street Journal reported that it was evidence of changing priorities for US forces.
